What should I do if my car gets damaged during transport?

First and foremost, DO NOT sign the bill of lading upon delivery if your vehicle is not in the exact condition in which you shipped it. Contact ECR Auto Hauler customer service immediately to report any issues. Please note that it is normal for your car to arrive slightly dusty or dirty on the exterior.

What if my car is heavy? Does that increase the delivery cost?

Our rates are calculated based on the size and weight of the vehicle. There are no additional charges to the customer for heavier vehicles.

Can I pay with a credit card?

Yes, we accept various payment methods, including credit cards and PayPal. Customers can also choose to pay cash on delivery (COD), though a deposit is required to secure your transportation service.

How is the vehicle transport fee calculated?

We keep it simple and straightforward. Customers provide key details about their vehicle, including size, weight, the distance between pick-up and drop-off locations, and whether they prefer open or enclosed transport. Based on this information, we accurately determine the transport fee. Unlike other companies, we don’t charge hidden or extra fees.

What does the insurance cover?

Our quoted price includes insurance for the vehicle only. Personal belongings inside the car are not covered under the transport insurance. Please note that these items are not part of your binding contract, and ECR Auto Hauler is not liable for any damage to belongings left inside the vehicle.

Do I need to be present throughout the process?

No, you don’t need to be present for the entire pick-up or delivery process. However, we strongly recommend having an adult available during the loading or unloading of the vehicle.

Is there an upfront payment?

No, there are no hidden fees or charges for inquiries. However, if you choose cash on delivery (COD), you will need to pay a deposit to secure your booking.

How long does vehicle delivery take?

Delivery times depend on the distance and factors like weather and traffic.

  • For distances between 500 and 1,000 miles, delivery typically takes 2 to 3 days.
  • For distances between 1,000 and 2,000 miles, delivery may take 4 to 7 days.
  • For distances over 2,000 miles, delivery may take 7 to 12 days.
